'Free Pitching'... (It's not fair)
At Dee Tree Ltd we value your business and like to think we do a great job. In the past we have been asked to provide potential clients with an interactive draft site before we've agreed on doing business; something we cannot afford to do.
Web designers are often asked to provide detailed, interactive drafts for a client (known as 'free pitching') so that they can be used in determining which web design house to work with. Please understand that at Dee Tree we cannot provide in-depth, interactive and aesthetically rich designs at the time of deciding who to do business with. This process is essentially free and time-consuming work which isn't accepted in any other industry and essentially undervalues our work.
At Dee Tree we are confident in both our designs, dedication to our clients and pricing, so please understand our policy on this subject. As standard we will always provide you with an early visual mock-up of our proposed design, layout and structure so that you get a feel for our ideas and creativity.
